About the role

As Product Owner within any of our squads, you are key to our success.

You are the right hand of the vertical lead and a mentor, agile coach, and functional lead to the entire squad.

To succeed in this position, it is paramount that you are in close sync with the vertical lead and enable the dev team to deliver in their usual high-performance fashion.

Your daily routine consists of:

• Backlog refinement
• Supporting the dev team in executing on the same

To this extent, you will also lead the Sprint-Planning, -Review, and -Retrospective.

What does company expect from you?

🛠 Product experience and principles

• 3-6 years of overall product experience as PO or similar with at least 2-3 years in fintech space (banking, payments, accounting).
• Experience as project manager or operational PO is crucial.
• Experience as PO in banking, payments, or accounting with a focus on Account Receivables, Account Payables, and/or API products is beneficial.
• You have a passion for end-users and want to keep thinking user-centric (although we are building an API first product).
• You are experienced in product organization (Triforce, Scrumban).
• You love working with a cross-functional team and to iterate with developers and designers. Stakeholder communication is easy for you.
• You distinguish between assuming and knowing and pivot/iterate on everything.
• You're great in product documentation and you see the value in it.
• You're great in communication e.g. with clients or internal stakeholders.
